Steve Pugh

As a valued member of our team, Steve combines his entrepreneurial spirit with over twenty years of industry experience to provide outstanding results for our clients. Prior to joining Igloo, Steve was the Vice President of a National Geomatics and Engineering firm, board advisor for their wholly owned subsidiary, and partner in a global engineering consultancy. He has held various service positions within the energy sector, oil sands mine and plant construction, oil & gas exploration, and power transmission construction. Steve has been involved in the construction of several multi-billion-dollar projects in the Athabasca Oil Sands and Alberta Industrial Heartland.
Steve is also an active investor and adviser in two environmental ventures that are currently in the commercialization and optimization phases of development. As an active investor, he has worked at securing operational funding, strategic partnerships, operations strategy, and value-add product diversification.
Steve is a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, University of Alberta Faculty of Extension and Queen's Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the Smith School of Business. Steve is a member and council member of the Alberta Society of Survey and Mapping Technologists (ASSMT) and is registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
